Rock climbing is a very social sport, it’s all about having a good time and as we cater for all ranges of experience and ability, you can push yourself as much or as little as you want at the Extreme Edge - New Zealand’s largest & newest indoor climbing gyms.
No membership is required, no experience is necessary and all first-timers get a free safety lesson from one of our experienced instructors. They’ll teach you how to be safe at the wall, how to use our state of the art equipment and give you some pointers on which area of our massive facility will probably suit you best.
Now, don’t be scared by the word “Gym” that we used earlier, anyone and everyone can have a good time here. You can keep fit and get stronger and more flexible without even realising it’s happening! We’re pretty sure that’s the only kind of gym that should be allowed.
We’re a little bit more relaxed than your regular gym. In fact, we’re so relaxed that we did a special deal with Hell Pizza that you can take advantage of.
